Angelina's Oral History Interview

I had an opportunity to interview Angelina, the daughter of Regina's niece Lorelei (so is Angelina Regina's great niece???). Angelina met Regina, her husband Bill, her daughter Regina Ann and Aunt Kate (Regina's maternal aunt who lived to be 106 years old!) in the 1980s when Regina lived in Mahopac, NY.

I have a friend, Carroll Blue, who did a project on the Third Ward in Houston. She mapped the locations & linked videos about the locations. What's cool is that the stories overlap. Here's a link to it if you're interested:

Regina M. Anderson, was my Great Aunt, I've visited and lived with Aunt Regina, while caring for her & Uncle Bill, who at the time was ill. Aunt Regina called my mother Lorelei, in asking her to come and care for them, but instead I went. I spent about 6 months with them in their home on Long Pond Road, which was built in 1776. While living in Mahopac, NY I also had the honor in visiting my Great, Great Aunt Kate who was 106 years old at the time.
I am Regina' s Great Niece, it was a honor in being able to live and care for them, I was a part of her life, she was my Aunt and I loved her very much. Aunt Regina was the only connection I had to my grandfather!!
